Recount a formal occasion
I went to my uncles wedding last year in summer, on Waiheke island. As I was apart of the wedding the preparation was different, I was with the bride and bridesmaids. I had my hair done by a hairdresser and being the baby bridesmaid I had my dress picked out for me, it was the same as the bridesmaids but more appropriate for someone my age. I was in charge of the something blue, something borrowed, something new and something old.

Disco
Last night was the Tauranga Intermediates term 3 disco. This term's theme was Careers but not even half the students who came dressed up. The disco had no where near as many people who came last term. Mrs Colvile was a little disappointed but we still made a reasonable amount of money with the food and drinks sold and the tickets sales. The music also wasn't as good this time as all the newer songs were playing right at the start when nobody was there.

SPCA
SPCA visit with Norm Hewitt
Today in the middle block we were asked to attend a presentation about the SPCA. We all sat in the gym to learn about animals and the SPCA. Norm Hewitt an ex all black and the winner of the dancing with the stars 2005. He came to tell us his personal experience with family violence and how animals are similar to humans. He explained that if you are violent to animals it's almost impossible to be kind to humans.

His girlfriend Lisa Ross was me and my mums hairdresser before she actually came a police officer also. Simon was assaulted, a man jumped on his head, kicked him and punched. Simon broke all the bones in his face and his surgery is tomorrow according to Lisa. Me, my mum and dad are going to auckland this weekend to see him and Lisa. There is a website where people re donating money for either is recovery, medical bills or even a holiday, the donations are up to $8000.

Spring
Slight sunlight glowing through the curtains in the morning.
Playing outside after spending the wet winter days inside.
Running around in the dry green grass.
Intriguing new choices in what to do in your day, now that you can enjoy the sun.
Now planting your flowers, plants and veggie gardens so they blossom for Summer.
Growing your tan, wearing less and less layers so when Summer comes you have more of a chance to not be ghostly white.
